Plateau group replies  PDP says Lalong  has done well in office

Plateau Regeneration Group (PRG) on Tuesday said that Gov Simon Lalong has done well in since assumption of office as Governor  and the people of the state are with him .

Plateau Regeneration group in a statement signed by the Public Relations officer of the group comrade Pam Datiri was reacting to a statement credited to the Peoples Democratic Party PDP that he (Lalong)does not deserve a second term in office .

It could be recalled that  Plateau state chapter of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has claimed that the Governor Simon Bako Lalong doesn’t deserve re-election because he doesn’t have any real and meaningful achievement to show to the people of the state.

The party in a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, John T. Akans explained that Lalong’s declaration to seek re-election just two days after President Buhari’s declaration places him as a mere but desperate copy-cat.

Reacting to the statement Plateau Regeneration group said Lalong has proven that he has what it takes to lead Plateau  “we stand with Lalong because of the good work he is doing in Plateau.”

The group also said the PDP has nothing to offer but cheap propaganda  .

Gov Lalong has done well in his three years in office and  deserves a smooth sail   in the 2019 general elections due to prompt payment of worker’s salaries and pension that have strengthened the economic fortunes of the state.

He said  consistent payment of salary by the Lalong’s rescue government has strengthened the economy of the state. Whenever salaries are paid, the economic activities in the state is heightened and by so doing people feel the positive impact while each time there is no salary for one to three months, everything virtually come to a standstill that was why the government decided to make payment of salaries a priority as well as  infrastructural development .

” Out side payment of salaries the Lalong led administration has done well in completing inherited projects and also initiating projects that have direct bearing on citizens of the state in virtually all the 17 local government councils ,Lalong is doing excellently well in the education sector by recently employing teachers and also revamping the Plateau state university in Bokkos ,”Our Gov has also done well in the health sectors ,as well as reviving moribund companies in Plateau ,go to the Bokkos fertilizer blending plant ,the highland bottling company and hill station hotel and see the beautiful work our governor has done .

Lalong has also done well in carrying all tribes along in governance .

We are confident Lalong would win the 2019 governorship election because the people of the state are with him .

Lalong has done well and would continue to do more for Plateau ,the PDP in Plateau has nothing to offer the people of Plateau

“`Lalong has performed very well  just last month, President Muhammadu Buhari visited the state and inaugurated several projects. Everybody witnessed the inauguration of the projects.

“So, if anyone says that nothing has been achieved, that is unfortunate and not right.

“

The group also said that Plateau people would decide Lalong’s fate at the right time, and particularly commended Lalong for paying salaries of workers consistently, since he came into office
