Plateau group laud Lalong for nominating ,Victor Lapang, Pam Bot Mang ,others as Commissioners

Plateau Regeneration Group have commended  Governor  Simon Lalong, for nominating one time member of the state house of assembly  Mr Victor Lapang , and Pam Botmang  son of former Deputy governor of the state Micheal Botmang  ,Hon Festus Fantuer and sixteen others as commissioners in his new cabinet.

The group  in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos on Thursday  , commended the governor for  making the right choice,  saying that they have not been disappointed. 

The statement was signed by the President of the group , Barrister Katlong Danbaba . 

They urged the members of the State House of Assembly to do the needful by speedily confirming the nominees as members of the state executive council. 

The statement said, “We commend Gov Lalong for appointment of this Youths in his cabinet as this  shows that he is a listening governor who has the interest of the state at heart. 

“The ball is now in the court of the legislators to do the needful and confirm the nominees as soon as possible. We trust that the nominees are capable of discharging any responsibility entrusted on them. ” 

We commend our governor Simon Lalong for his efforts at bettering the lives of citizens of the state and advice him to continue to provide more dividends of democracy to the people of the state. 

The group further called on citizens of the state to continue to support the Lalong led administration at all times.
