Plateau govt calls on citizens to disregard promoters of false news

 Plateau State  government has uncovered a plot by faceless group to post false and malicious stories on the social media with intent of causing disaffection and distrust against the government and people of Plateau State.

This was contained in a statement signed by Yakubu Dati the

Commissioner of Information and Communication and made available to newsmen in Jos on Monday

The statement reads that “The latest of these fabrication is a story titled ‘Plateau Farmers cries out demanding for the whereabouts of 400 tractors commissioned by Buhari”. 

Members of the public are hereby called upon to disregard these false and misleading contraptions that exists only in the imagination of its fabricators.

The government of Plateau State remains focused on delivering on it’s mandate.
