The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has emphasized the need for a collaborative and symbiotic relationship with the Plateau State House of Assembly in order to foster peace, unity, and deliver the desired dividends of democracy to people of the State.

Governor Mutfwang made this call on Wednesday during a breakfast meeting with members of the House, led by the Speaker Rt. Hon. Gabriel Dewan, at the Old Government House, Little Rayfield, Jos.The Governor commended the members for their dedication to impactful legislation, noting that now, with the complete inauguration of the 24-member Assembly, the stage is set for enhanced collaboration aimed at preserving and promoting Plateau’s rich heritage.

“Let me sincerely appreciate all of you,” the Governor said. “Now that we have a full 24-member House, as required by law and as expected by the people, I am pleased to formally welcome the Assembly as we work together for the greater good of Plateau State.

“My dream, my ambition, and my desire are to ensure that we collectively prioritize the interests of the Plateau people in all that we do. Let us not take this opportunity for granted. Many of you were not initially in the House, but God has placed you here. I am also here by God’s grace. Together, let’s do the will of God, which aligns with the will of the people.”
