Plateau football Association lauds Lalong for creating an enabling environment for football to grow in Plateau.

Executive members of the Plateau Football Association on Thursday expressed their deep and profound appreciation to the Executive Governor of Plateau state Hon Simon Lalong for creating an enabling environment for football to grow on the Plateau.

Hon Sunday Samson Longbap the chairman of Plateau football Association PFA in a statement made available to newsmen in Jos reads that the resolutions was taken at the Plateau Football Association emergency meeting held on Wednesday at the PFA Secretariat .

It reads that” The  Executive members of the PFA frowned at the way and manner in which the fans of Wikki Tourist of Bauchi conducted themselves  during and after the 1-1 drama match against Kano pillars on Sunday 8th April 2018 at their Zaira road Jos their adopted home ground ,disciplinary measures would be taken against all hoodlums and every act of hooliganism and therefore warned all football fans to take note of that “.

The Executive members of the PFA also arrived at the decision that henceforth adequate security must be provided during and after all home matches at the Zaira road stadium and Rwang Pam stadium respectively and fans are not allowed to sit at the VIP stand during matches .

All clubs especially those playing league matches should register for the AITEO cup (former challenge cup ) and closing date for registration remains Monday 18th April  2018 as any late registration after the said date will attract N10,000 for state and N100,000 for National 

All clubs that are yet to register and affiliate with PFA are advised to do so immediately and no club is to organise or participate in any football completion without the consent of the PFA .

The PFA also inaugurated its sub committees chairman with Hon Sunday Samson Longbap as chairman of  finance committee ,Mr Ezra Simon Gidit ,chairman organizing committee ,Mr John Barry ,chairman marketing committee ,others are Mr Jonah Maafwalal ,chairman school sports committee, Mr Emmanuel Choji ,chairman stadium committee ,Mr Patrick Habu Pakwai,chairman Referees committee ,All Sale Nature  Players union ,/match commissioners committee ,Alh Salisu Nakande ,chairman medicals committee ,Coach Peter lenge ,chairman Technical committee ,chief Nanpon Musa ,chsirma. Women football committee ,Alh Salisu Mohammed ,chairman security committee ,Mr Larry Gowon,chairman Audit committee ,Barrister Dan Gwaza ,chairman legal committee ,Amb Yemi Matthew ,Chairman media committee ,other sub committees will be inaugurated subsequently ,the statement further reads .
