Plateau EXCO Adopts Boston Consulting Group 5 Years Development Plan

Plateau State Executive Council (SEC) held its first meeting since the swearing in of Commissioners by Governor Simon Lalong.

A statement made available to newsmen in Jos and signed by Dr. Makut Macham, Director of Press
and Public Affairs made available to newsmen in Jos reads that the Commissioner for Information Dan Manjang who briefed the media after the meeting said the council adopted the five year development plan recently submitted by the Boston Consulting Group which was hired
to come up with the road map for the state.

He said the council endorsed the document and promised to follow it diligently, stressing that commissioners will proceed on a three day meeting that will prepare them for a retreat that will equip them for the task ahead.

The statement further reads that “Commissioner for Budget and Planning Mr. Sylvester Wallangko also told journalists that the government was determined to expand its revenue sources so as to be able to
deal fund its projects and programmes.
