Plateau Assoc. UK cultural day 2019 happens to critical acclaim

The 2019 edition of the Plateau State Cultural day happened on 2nd November 2019 to critical acclaim.

As expected, a variety of cultural attires, foods and delicacies were on display, giving colour and glamour to the event.

Professor Sunny Tyoden, the Deputy Governor of Plateau State, who represented the Executive Governor, brought greetings and good tidings on behalf of the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Simon Lalong and lauded the Plateau diaspora initiative as truly special and critical to statehood and nation building.

Speaking, he reiterated the policy thrusts of the government, saying the Government was willing to partner with the diaspora community in order to advance Plateau State.

In the same vein, His Royal Highness, the Mishkaham Mwaghavul, who represented the traditional and royal fathers of Plateau, lauded the leadership of the association –and called for unity and fortitude.

Speaking on behalf of the association, the President –Mr Rwang Chall, appreciated the state government for its consistent partnership and cooperation and outlined the near term vision of the association.
