The crisis between the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Plateau branch and the national level has deepened with the national body rejecting the dissolution of the state committee and suspension of some members.

The national body in a letter addressed to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) stated that all executives of the party are to remain. The letter written by the party National Secretary, Alhaji Sa’id Baba Abdullahi said that committee Alhaji Muhammadu Abdullahi and Mubarak Yusuf Garko respectively are to remain as Chairman and Secretary respectively.

National body of the party also warned its gubernatorial candidate in Plateau, Alhaji Sabiu Musa to stop making further comments on the matter and that his earlier dissolution of the executive and suspension of members was null and void.
