Plateau 9th assembly would make laws that would move state forward – Speaker

Speaker of the Plateau state House of assembly Rt Hon Abok Ayuba on Thursday said the 9th state house of assembly would contribute its quota in moving Plateau state forward .

Abok made this known when 14 All Progressive Congress members of the state house of assembly members paid a courtesy call to the chairman of the Party in the state Hon Latep Dabang

He said ” The APC has done well in providing dividends of democracy to the people of the state , we are here to pledge our loyalty to the party , we have benefited from the party , we would work to bring more members to our party .

He also assured the people of his constituency that he will not let them down as as he would support quality laws, adding that he will continue to work hard until the people of the state enjoy the full dividends of democracy.

“You will see quality laws from members of the house .

I can assure you all that I will never sleep. I will continue to work and work until the people of Plateau enjoys the full dividends of democracy .

The APC is a party that is determined to better the lives of citizens of the state and country at large and I call on citizens of plateau to continue to support the party at all times .

Majority leader of the state House of assembly Hon. Naanlong Daniel representing Mikang constituency said we would work with my colleagues to ensure we fulfil and implement the manifesto of our party .

Speaking at the event, the APC chairman in Plateau pledged the support and cooperation of the party .

He commended members of the state house of assembly for holding a peaceful election into various principal offices of the state assembly
