The leader of the Plateau state Women Wing of CAN AMB. Rhoda Godwill Jahota today calls on Christian women to vote for “righteous men” in the 2023 general elections. this statement was said today at the ZUMJI event centre Sabon Barki venue of the PARLEY WITH THE GUBERNATORIAL CANDIDATES ON THE PLATEAU

The WOWICAN chairperson says “

I cannot overemphasize this important aspect of this program enough. We must minimize noise making so as to allow us to hear what the various candidates have to share with us. We are in for serious business.

Times have changed. People have become more enlightened. Gone are the days when eligible voters would sell their votes to the highest bidder. We owe our children and our children’s children and our generations yet unborn the best of leaders that our land can produce. Our ultimate desire is to elect righteous and God-fearing leaders because the Bible says, “When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when a wicked man rules, the people groan” (Proverbs 29:2 NKJV). It is the righteous leaders that would eventually lead us into a righteous lifestyle which would ultimately exalt our nation in accordance with the word of God which says; “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34 ESV).
