As the 2023 General Elections get closer and hotter with Political Parties finalizing steps to hold their respective Primary Elections, a business Mogul, renowned Philanthropist and a frontline Gubernatorial Aspirant of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State, Chief kefas Ropshik “Kefiano” has reassured the Citizens of the State of his commitment to making their lives better and building a viable economy that will enhance economic activities.

He made the disclosures when he visited the PDP Delegates in Barkin Ladi and Riyom LGAs to seek their supports during the forthcoming PDP Gubernatorial Primary Election slated for 23rd May, 2022.

“I am here to introduce myself to you and to let you know that I have the qualities needed to change the livelihood of the people of Plateau State from its present state”
“Today, our agenda is to look at the possibility of empowering our youths and Women”
“We’ll identify with at least 15 Youths and Women looking at their area of strengths, get them trained them, register businesses for them, give them startups and monitor their progress; by doing so, when their businesses start flourishing they can employ other people and the multiplier effect will be massive and this will significantly improve our economy and the standard of living of the people”
“They will add value to the State as they are creating jobs and the long term impact when they are flourishing through tax payment by their businesses will provide the State with resources for massive infrastructural development”
“I want to spark a mentality change on the youths of Plateau State that today civil service is not the way forward as technology is taking over globally and it is important that we empower them to embrace the benefits of science and technology for wealth creation”
“Leadership has nothing to do with age, it lies in someone capacity and ideas” he said.

According to him, Plateau State is blessed with both natural and human resources that have remained untapped which if properly harnessed will guarantee its prosperity.

He promised to give attention to security and ensure that the people are safe, secured and carry out their social, economic, cultural, religious and other activities without being harassed or molested.

He said he will ensure that the tourism, mineral and agricultural potentials of the State are developed and fully tapped to raise the revenue generation profile of the State from its present abysmal position.

He charged the Delegates to assess all the Aspirant in terms of their antecedents and what they have been able to achieved and the lives they have empowered and impacted to avoid choosing people without good records and vision for the State.

He said his “Plateau First” agenda is aimed at securing the future of the State and making the it the pride of all by providing the right leadership if given the mandate.

Earlier, the Director General of the “Plateau First” Campaign Organization, a former Secretary Riyom Local Government Council and former Acting National Legal Adviser of the PDP, Barr. Simon Jock while introducing the Aspirant described him as a visionary personality who is ready and willing to take Plateau State to enviable height if given the opportunity.
He urged the Delegates to give him their votes to the Aspirants to achieve his vision of a better, greater, safer and more prosperous State.

Those who spoke lauded the capacity and vision of the Aspirant and prayed God to grant him his desire.
They urged him not to disappoint the State if given the mandate but work towards growing the State.
