Pictures: Lalong kicks off 2016 fertiliser distribution to farmers in Bokkos

The Plateau state Governor, Barrister Simon Lalong has kicked off the 2016 fertilizer distribution to farmers in Bokkos LGA.

The distribution which departs from the usual allocation process where fertilizers reach farmers through middle-men, saw Lalong commission a new method, through which the fertilizer is provided directly to farmers without the need for middle-men. Thereby cutting cost, eliminating scarcity and streamlining the supply chain.

Several farmers who were recipients of the fertilisers expressed gratitude to the state Government for initiating such new measures which effectively eliminates scarcity and empowers farmers.
