The Rescue Administration is deliberate about ensuring that all Government’s MDAs are interoperable. Under the leadership of H.E Governor Simon Bako Lalong, there is a deliberate policy for a whole-of-government. No longer are we going to have any Government MDA working in silo. We want to promote Efficiency, Transparency and Accountability. We want to be able to make economic policies based on data and not on sentiments.

It is in this light that the Director General of Plateau State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency(PICTDA) had a meeting with all heads of Plateau State Tertiary Institutions recently at the New Government House Conference Room, Little Rayfield Jos as pioneers to loud Government’s deliberate effort in ensuring data harmony and need for share-ability of data to achieve connectedness.

The Plateau State Information and Communication Technology Development Agency as the clearing House of IT Projects in Plateau State has been mandated to clear all IT Projects in line with the policy objectives of the Rescue Administration captained by His Excellency Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong and therefore it was a meeting to emphasise on the need for certification of all IT infrastructure acquisition and deployment of every institutions of the state to ensure that global practice is in play.
