ViewPointNigeria provides vintage pictures of Plateau showcasing the heritage of the people and the early civilisation. ViewPointNigeria will continue to provide materials that promote heritage of people who were once under the Nok Culture. We are working to obtain a video that was shot in Plateau in 1926 showing the interaction between the Mwaghavul and Ngas people with the British colonialists.

In 1943, British archaeologist Bernard Fagg received a visitor in the central Nigerian town of Jos, where he had spent the previous few years gathering and classifying ancient artifacts found on a rugged plateau. The visitor carried a terracotta head that, he said, had been perched atop a scarecrow in a nearby yam field. Fagg was intrigued.
