Photo News; Mupun Girls at Home and in the diaspora have benefited from the Humanitarian Gesture of Miss Vwang 2020.

Miss Vwang 2020, has put smiles on the faces of numerous Mupun girls through her intervention program which took place on the 3rd-5th Jan, 2021. Across all the villages in Mupun land.

 The program which kick started in Lankan had the theme; A Healthy Mupun Girl, the Wealth of the Mupun Nation".
Speaking separately at the event, Mishkom Mupun through the Madaki, the Mishkom Abwor/Dyis and the Mishkom Jing all lauded the efforts of Miss Vwang for organizing such a historic event aimed at helping young Mupun girls and admonished all the participants to take advantage of the opportunity availed them to learn some things that will help them now and in the future. Also speaking, the MUCDA President, Chief Pedro Dafur appreciated the gesture and encouraged individuals to emulate same in order to grow the Mupun nation. He said that MUCDA attaches high importance to the program given it's direct impact on lives of the Mupun girls.

In her remarks, the Miss Vwang 2020 (Nanret Binshak Longs) appreciated all Mupun sons and daughters for their support towards the program and said that the idea behind the initiative is to help young Mupun girls to overcome certain challenges that they face in their lives as a result of their gender. She further explained that her reason for tagging the initiative as "Yetul" is to challenge and encourage Mupun sons and daughters to always remember home by giving back in whatever little way they can. 
The seminar which had Mrs. Hilda Dapar, a health professional as the guest speaker saw her talked on the topics; RAPE, MENSURATION AND PERSONAL HYGIENE in all the villages. 

The participants were overwhelmed by the gesture and applauded the efforts of the Miss Vwang and that of the guest speaker for taking their time to positively impact on their lives. They further said that they have learned a lot through the seminar and shall use the lessons learnt to shape their lives. 
The program started in Lankan on the 3rd for Asa and Londreng villages followed by Kagu, Jiblik and Abwor/Dyis villages held in Ekan primary school Abwor/Dyis on the 4th and lastly in Jing village held at the community hall in Jing community hall on the 5th.

Highlights of the event was the distribution of sanitary pads to all the participants in all the villages across Mupun and the presentation of motivational books to deserving participants by the guest speaker.
