The Plateau State Commissioner of Works, Pam Bot-Mang has commiserated with the immediate/extended family, friends, associates, APC family, the Government and good people of Jos South LGA, the Berom Nation and Plateau state at large, on the demise of a husband, father, grand father, brother, elder statesman, political mentor and a leader par excellence, Dalo Za’ang, Da J.D Haruna, former Executive Chairman Jos South LGC, Chairman Elders Forum APC Jos South LGC and Chairman Berom Elders Council, which occurred on January 12, 2021.
Hon. Botmang said After a meritous and distinguished public service both at the Federal and State levels, Da JD Haruna became a consummate grassroot politician and a quintessential gentleman who matched words with actions of progress, peaceful coexistence, sacrifice and welfare of his people and community.
“He left indelible legacies that we will forever be proud of. Most who knew him, saw in him a guiding light and the moral compass in our community. Not only was he selfless and committed in every endeavour, he always wanted to pour out his deep reservoir of knowledge to all”
“As heaven opens its gates to receive this great icon, I pray God grants us all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss” he concluded.
