Rep. Dachung Musa Bagos the Member representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency has reiterated his commitment to ensuring that the mandate given to him by the people in trust better the lives of the people and the Constituency.
He said he will equip, empower and lift the generation before the end of the mandate.
Rep. Bagos appreciated the people for believing in him and the mandate given to him freely by the people.
He promised not to fail the people but justify the mandate with optimal performance.
He made this known during his thanksgiving service which held at COCIN RCC Gigiring Jos South LGA and commissioning of his Constituency Office along Bukuru Road.
Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara extolled the leadership qualities and style of Rep. Bagos and charged him to do what will take him to higher heights.
“You have no excuse not to perform having a great mentor such as His Excellency, Sen. Jonah Jang backing you”
He commended the immediate past Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency Da Sen. Jonah Jang for mentoring many who are now doing the nation/world proud and the infrastructural development undertaken by him when he held sway as Governor.
Da Sen. Jonah Jang in his remark said the success of democracy lies with the National/State Assembly urging the lawmakers to stand firm and don’t be a rubber stamp.
He said they are the power of any democratic setup and should do what is needed to strengthen Nigeria’s democracy.
He admonished those present to concentrate on unity, peaceful coexistence and contribute their quota all the time to nation building and national development.
He concluded saying he is proud and happy being represented by a young, vibrant and visionary gentleman in person of Hon. Dachung Bagos and urged him to provide credible leadership that will better the lives of the people.
Rev. Dauda Jang in his exhortation charged politicians must be bold to speak and fight for the people they are representing.
He urged Rep. Bagos to concentrate on dispensing exceptional leadership.
The Senator Plateau North said they will continue to give credible leadership to make democracy and the nation stronger.
The two events brought together Members of the National/State Assembly, political stalwarts cutting across the various political parties, clergies, traditional leaders, critical stakeholders across the State, youths, women, tribal associations etc.
