Quite frankly, we do not have the right vocabulary and acumen to scribble this article. We wish we had more than enough knowledge to describe the man this article is written to honour. The more we try to undertake a deep-rooted study of who Prof. Dakas is, the more we realize we have a long way to go before turning a corner in knowing him to the fullest. Each and every day, his life opens new book, new chapters and new opportunities that are boundless in both space and time. So, before you understand him and his sterling accomplishments, you have to know, it is like enrolling in a PhD program in a strict university where meeting all the academic criteria and doing tough research is mandatory. But as the future unfolds, we feel an incalculable excitement to know him and herald his success stories. That’s who he is in a nutshell – literally made of silver and gold.

This article doesn’t have anything to do with politics or praise-singing but has everything to do with appreciating and admiring the man who holds incredible belief in the success of others. Writing a book about him no matter how voluminous it may be, is almost impossible given his immeasurable goodwill and countless achievements.

We are the members of his media and strategic engagement team and we feel increasingly elated to tell the whole world that the man Prof. Dakas C.J Dakas, a senior advocate of Nigeria is paying his dues in all ramifications of Nigeria’s’ socio-economic and political life. More than anything else, touching lives through philanthropy is his underlying consideration and mission. We are amazing examples and beneficiaries of his love for humanity and practical philanthropy. It goes up and spreads like wildfire in the bush during harmattan. A strategic member of the ruling All Progressives Congress APC, Prof. Dakas believes that true change is possible and the APC can serve as a vehicle through which Nigeria can attain the pinnacle of true change and because of his erudite mind, scholarship, network, followership, resourcefulness, career accomplishments and degrees, the APC finds him strategically important and useful in helping to shape the party and by extension helping to shape the direction of Nigeria’s democracy. Being a key member of the APC constitution review committee and chairman governing council of Federal Polytechnic Ayede in Oyo State among other responsibilities, we believe our principal will utilize his time, energy and resources to make sense of the daily struggle waged for the betterment of Nigeria.

A globally travelled, experienced and exposed man, Prof. Dakas comes up with different equation, strategies and principles significantly adding up to people’s personal growth and development. He does that in both public and private. Listening to him speak and falling under his mentorship is like enjoying a boat cruising while taking ice-cream during a summer holiday in Northern Cyprus. He’s got mentees all across the country and beyond. It is really fascinating to hear of the awesomeness and impact he’s creating on people’s lives. The results are manifesting in a truly benevolent and admirable cycle. That’s leadership and that’s capacity.
In 2023, he will seek to be Plateau state’s number 1 citizen. We look forward to celebrating his success stories and what he will do differently. That’s a journey of faith and audacity.

We enjoin the good people of Plateau state to believe in his vision and see reasons why Prof. Dakas will make a better option as governor Lalongs’ successor. He understands the dynamics of Plateau politics. He equally knows the XYZ of democratic advancement through purpose-driven approach to leadership. Being with him is a blessing and great opportunity. He believes that Plateau state can get out of the woods and be a strong leader in the journey to Nigeria’s greatness. He is willing to consolidate on the achievements of past leaders in order to secure a promising future for our dear state. He is committed to work without ceasing until Plateau State becomes better. Finally, let’s look at the future of our state with dignity, pride and optimism. The best is surely yet to come. We believe in person of Prof. Dakas C.J Dakas (SAN. Let’s make history, together.
