Ongoing JUPTI Strike: Nigerian Students are at the Receiving End – NAPSS National Vice President

The ongoing strike by the Joint Union of Plateau State-owned Tertiary Institutions (JUPTI) has a negative effect on Nigerian students, who are at the receiving end. Should this strike continue for long, academic calendars of the institutions involved will be distorted, and this will lead to students gaining extra months/years of study, which will also affect one’s life plans.

I call on the government of Barr. Simon Lalong, to as a matter of urgent importance, meet the demands of these striking staff, so they can call off this strike, and students can resume school.
