News reaching ViewPointNigeria indicates that former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo will be touching down at the Yakubu Gowon Airport this afternoon to proceed on, to visit his injured son, Lt Colonel Adeboye Obasanjo who is currently receiving treatment at an undisclosed location in the city.

It would be recalled that earlier this week, the younger Obasanjo who leads in Platoon in Adamawa state, was said to have been injured during a fierce battle between Boko Haram and the Nigerian security forces. After the incident, Lt. Col. Obasanjo was initially rushed to the Federal Medical Centre Jimeta, Yola for treatment, before being flown to Jos, Plateau State for proper medicare.
