The Plateau State command of the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corp at the weekend arrested and paraded two suspected electricity cable vandals around Bukuru metropolis.

The Plateau State NSCDC commandant, Olasupo Adebayo Solomon, while parading the suspects at the command’s headquarters in Jos, said they were arrested while in possession of  cables during a routine patrol by men of the corps.

Solomon said the cables were said to be the property of Jos Electricity Distribution Company cut off from a transformer in one of the communities in Jos.

He gave the names of the suspects as Jonathan Joseph Okop and Salisu Usman.
