Nigerian Military Declares 11 Persons Wanted in Connection With Attacks and Killings in Plateau State

The Special Task Force codenamed Operation Safe Haven with Headquarters in Jos, the Plateau State has declared Eleven Persons wanted in connection with various offences ranging from the 2023 Christmas Eve attacks, killings and other crimes in Plateau State.

The Commander of Operation Safe Haven and General Officer Commanding 3 Division Nigerian Army Jos represented by the Deputy Commander of the Special Task Force and Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Tezungwe Iyua made this known during a Joint Press Conference by Security Agencies at the Headquarters of Operation Safe Haven in Jos on Friday 31st May, 2024.

Those declared wanted for questioning for their complicity in attacks at different locations in Plateau State are Muhammadu MP, Muhammed “MOPOL”, Rabiu Ibrahim, Buba Sobe, Senfos Yunusa Gaine, Nahaska Boderi.
Others are Dudi Mohammadu, Habu Mohammadu, Ja’afaru Matakala, Hassan Waje and Sanusi Dafor. He urged those with useful information on the whereabouts of the wanted suspects to contact Operation Safe Haven, the Nigerian Police Force or Department of State Services. He further stated that handsome reward awaits anyone with useful information that would lead to the arrest of any of the wanted suspects.

He disclosed that in line with the mandate of the Outfit, they are not resting on their oars in the effort to bring perpetrators of the heinous crimes to face justice having sustained intelligence-led operations which led to the neutralisation of some of the perpetrators, most apprehended while others are still at large but have been identified with the aid of technologies.
He said “let me also seize this opportunity to reiterate that the security agencies will not leave any stone unturned in its quest to bring perpetrators of violence to face justice in line with extant laws”

He urged the general public to collaborate with the security agencies and provide them with credible Information that will aid in securing law-abiding citizens in Plateau State and environs.
He reassured the Citizens that Operation Safe Haven is working assiduously to restore peace in its Joint Operations Area.
