Jos — The Permanent Secretary, Security, in Plateau State, Cornelius Sholbial, has attributed the low level of night life activity in Jos City to rising cases of cultism.

Sholbial stated this while answering questions on the low level of night activities in the state during a media parley between Governor Simon Bako Lalong and journalists as part of activities marking this year’s Democracy Day.

He noted that it was part of the reason why the state government had to ban the movement of tricycles, popularly known as Keke NAPEP, after 9:00p.m.

The permanent secretary gave instances where Keke NAPEP riders had been lured and killed by alleged cultists for pea sums.
