The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, NCPC Rev Dr Yakubu Pam and the delegation of states Pilgrimage Leaders and Managers arrived Athens, Greece from Rome on Wednesday, 20th December, 2023 on a pre-visit tour of the holy sites and inspection of hotels in the ancient city of Greece.

The delegation landed at Athens International airport at 6:20 pm local time and was received by the ground handlers.
The delegation was in Rome from 16th to 20th December 2023 where they visited some of the important holy sites and relics in Rome as well as inspection of hotels.
The delegation will be in Greece from 20th to 23rd December which would afford them the opportunity to visit some some of the designated holy sites and hotels in preparation for the 2023 Main Pilgrimage exercise to Rome and Greece, scheduled for early next year.
While in Greece, the delegation would visit holy sites in Corinth, Athens, amongst others.
The Executive Secretary of NCPC, Rev Dr Yakubu Pam said he would have a strategic meeting with the states Pilgrimage leaders in Athens to review the impact of the pre -visit so far and brainstorm on critical issues and proffer ways that would make the forthcoming Main Pilgrimage exercise in Rome and Greece successful and hitch free.
