Naza Agape Foundation Distributes Sanitary Pads to Students of GSS Riyom, Plateau State

In its effort of improving the personal hygiene and sanitary health of the Girl Child, Naza Agape Foundation today in its “pad a girl campaign” distributed reusable sanitary pads to Students of Government Secondary School (GSS) Riyom.

While performing the presentation after training the Students on the usage and safety of the pads, the Founder of the Foundation, Mrs Prayer Nwagboso who was flanked by her Team said the mission of the Foundation is to impact the World through strategic impact of the Children. She said if a Child is strategically impacted, it translates to impact to the World.

According to her, the Foundation is leaving no stone unturned to ensure that no child or less privileged is denied access to quality education, good welfare and an enabling environment in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (2 zero hunger, 4 quality education and 17 partnership for the goals).
She said so far the Foundation has impacted over 5,000 lives and urged the Students to take their studies seriously and have positive attitude towards life.

She disclosed that they were in the School to assist the Students with the sanitary pads considering the harsh economic situations being being faced which will make it difficult for them to afford the item. She charged them to follow the instructions given to them on the usage and make sure they maintain good personal hygiene all the time.

Principal of the School, Mr. Pam Gyang appreciated the Foundation, for selecting the School and for the humanitarian gesture.

Some beneficiaries who couldn’t hide their joy lauded the Foundation for identifying with them and coming to their sanitary needs.
They promised to put to good use the training they received and the items.
