Nasarawa State at 28: Senator Dariye Congratulates Nasarawa State Government and Citizens

Former Governor of Plateau State and Plateau Central Senator during the 7th/8th Senate, Sen. Joshua Dariye, FCA has congratulated the Governor of Nasarawa State Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, his Cabinet, the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, the State Judiciary and the good Citizens of the State on the 28th Anniversary of the State since it was carved out of Plateau State on 1st October, 1996 during the Late General Sani Abacha Military Era.

Senator Dariye in a message commended all illustrious Sons and Daughters of the State who have made deliberate efforts to the unity, growth and development of the State. He applauded all former Governors, Military and elected for their contributions to the transformation of the State and improving its economic viability.

The former Governor admonished the Citizens of the State to accord the Governor of the State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule the required support especially when he is performing exceptionally well to transform the State and take it to enviable height.

“Nasarawa State has witnessed significant growth and development since it was created in 1996, this is as a result of the unwavering commitment of its Leaders, elites and the support by the Citizens. It is important that the vision of the Founding Fathers of the State is pursued religiously with all the vigour it deserves for a better and greater State. The creation of the State on 1st October, 1996 when Nigeria was commemorating it’s 36th Anniversary wasn’t a mistake but a divine arrangement” he said.

He wished the Governor, Alh. Abdullahi A. Sule, State Assemby, Judiciary, Traditional Rulers, Religious Leaders and Citizens of the State the happy 28th anniversary Celebration.
