NAPSS NVRI Chapter Commissions Aluta Jet, Donates Wheelchairs to Indigent Physically Challenged

National Veterinary Research Institute, Vom today was full by a wide spectrum of guests, ranging from physically challenged people to politicians. This is because the National Association of Plateau State Students (NAPSS), NVRI Vom Chapter, was at their humanitarian best as they gave out 30 wheelchairs to indigent people. The walking aids were donated by Chief Ayuba Gufwan Burki , CEO of Beautiful Gates Foundation, Jos through the student body. The humanitarian gesture by the students was in celebration and launch of their recently acquired Aluta Jet.

Speaking at the occasion, Chairman of NAPSS, NVRI Chapter, Comrade Pam Dalyop Pam said the student body embarked on the project to identify with the depraved people who are often forgotten in the society. He commended Beautiful Gate Foundation for partnering with them to make the dream a reality
Speaking earlier at the event, Sen ID Gyang, represented by Hon Daniel Dem commended the students for the laudable initiative and encouraged them to support worthy leaders

In a presentation titled Youth, Education and National Development, guest speaker at the ocassion, Scientist Solomon Chollom, said national development will remain impeded until conscious efforts are geared towards youth development, adding that the youths of any generation are the most valuable assets a country can boast of.
