My Victory at the Federal High Court is the begining of APC Victory in Plateau, Nigeria, says Dr. Nentawe

The All Progressives Congress governorship Candidate in Plateau state Dr Yilwatda Nentawe has described his victory at Federal Hight Court Jos on saturday as the beginning of Victory for the APC in Plateau and Nigeria Come 2023.
Dr Nentawe while reacting on the court Judgement expressed happiness that the conduct of the Primary election has been adjudged by the court as transparent,free and fair, promising that the APC will deliver a State that is secure, united and prosperous.
He as describing the litigation instituted as a legal and democratic rights of individuals who feel dissatisfied with certain process or decisions taken by the party.
According to him he does not begrudge anybody who challenged his emergence as the Party’s governorship flag bearer more especially when the process leading to his victory has passed the integrity test.
Dr Nentawe noted that as far as he was concerned the whole tussle was a family affair Which should not be blown out of proportion by unnecessary comments and celebrations.
He pointed out that now that the legal dispute has been put to rest what should be uppermost is how to Marshall strategies to win the election at all the stages of the ballot.
It would be recalled that the Federal High Court sitting in Jos had on Saturday dismissed the pre-election suit filed by an aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Danyaro Sarpiya, challenging the emergence of Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda as the party’s governorship candidate for the 2023 election in Plateau State.
Justice Dorcas Agishi in a Judgement on Saturday dismissed the suit for lack of merit, saying the claimant lacks the Locos standing to challenge the APC governorship primaries in the state.
She noted that Dr. Sarpiya did not resign from his place of work 30 days before the primaries, adding that he also withdraw from the race while the contest was ongoing.
Justice Agishi also ruled that Dr. Sarpiya cannot contest the authenticity of the delegates who participated in the exercise because he wasn’t a delegate.
Sarpiya had dragged the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to court, challenging the validity of Dr. Yilwatda as the APC governorship candidate.
However, Dr. Nentawe said he has extended the olive branch to Mr. Sarpiya to put everything behind him and join him in ensuring that APC emerges victorious at the state and federal levels.
The APC governorship Candidate expressed gratitude to all those who stood by him during the legal process and said that there is no victor or vanquish at the end of it all.
