The Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, has joined well-wishers across the country in congratulating Stella Din-Jacob on her appointment as the new Executive Director, News, of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA).
In a goodwill message signed by his Director of Press and Public Affairs, Dr. Gyang Bere, Governor Mutfwang expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing a refined daughter of Plateau State into such a strategic position. He described the appointment as a recognition not only of Stella Din-Jacob’s outstanding professional accomplishments, but also of Plateau’s proud tradition of producing distinguished personalities who continue to contribute immensely to national development.
The Governor expressed confidence that Din-Jacob will bring to bear her decades of professional excellence in the broadcast industry, having served meritoriously with Silverbird Group, Minaj Broadcast Group, Channels Television, and TVC News, where her remarkable contributions shaped public discourse and strengthened national cohesion.
He lauded her sterling career trajectory, particularly her leadership in steering one of the largest newsrooms in the country, where she demonstrated vision, balance, and fairness in reporting qualities that have positively influenced governance and promoted democratic values.
Governor Mutfwang further extolled her resilience, integrity, and unwavering commitment to justice, equity, and professionalism. He urged her to continue upholding the values of excellence, empathy, tolerance, and accommodation virtues that reflect the true Plateau spirit and remain vital for building peace and unity in Nigeria.
