In preparation to the 2018 Nzem Berom Cultural Festival, which is the mother of all Berom Cultural Activities, the Zere Beauty Pageant which showcased Beauty and the human resources of the Berom Nation held yesterday at Langfield Leisure Park Little Rayfield Jos, Plateau State.

The event which was well attended saw Miss Peace Ntyang Joshua from Gyel District of Jos South LGA emerging Miss Berom 2018.

Miss Peace was decorated by the outgoing Zere Berom, Nerat Iliya and Miss Plateau, Abigail Kim who were well dressed to mark the Zere occasion.

First Runner-up was Miss Joyce Pam Samuel from Foron District of Barkin Ladi LGA and a Lady, Miss Dung Noro Joseph from Du District in Jos South LGA emerged the Second Runner-up.

The Zere was preceded by Hwong’o Pwana, local grinding of a special Berom Cereal, a competition that was keenly contested by one representative from all the District which was won by Ngo Jummai Dung Danladi from Vwang District with Riyom and Heipang Districts as 1st after the Symposium held a day after the duo.

It should be noted that all the District held their Cultural Festival including Aboro which is a Berom District in Sanga LGA of Kaduna State.

Special prayers were also held to herald the Nzem Berom.

2018 Nzem Berom will hold on Friday 11th May, 2018 at Rwang Pam Township Stadium Jos, Plateau State Viewpoint Nigeria was hinted. Berom illustrious sons and daughters across the globe are in high spirit to witness and get update of the grand finale of Nzem Berom.

The theme if this year’s Nzem Berom is “Berom: Irresistible Land, People, Culture and Agricultural Economy”
