The MEG Cancer Foundation has appointed Honourable Bro. Felix Amechi Obuah as a Patron of the Foundation and has also honoured him with the prestigious Humanitarian Service Award of the Year, in recognition of his outstanding commitment to humanity and his unwavering support for the less privileged and vulnerable.

The appointment letter and the Humanitarian Service Award of the Year were formally presented to Bro. Felix Amechi Obuah by the Founder of the MEG Cancer Foundation, Hon. Dr. Na’anyil Magdalene Dakogol, during a visit to his residence in his country home.

Speaking during the presentation, the Founder explained that the decision to appoint and honour Bro. Felix Amechi Obuah was inspired by his remarkable commitment to humanitarian service, his compassion for people in need, and his consistent efforts towards improving the lives of vulnerable members of society.

She noted that his actions demonstrate that true leadership goes beyond political or personal interests and is ultimately about touching lives, restoring hope, and serving humanity.

According to her, the Foundation considers Bro. Felix a worthy recipient of the Humanitarian Service Award of the Year, particularly for his demonstrated passion for supporting healthcare initiatives and standing with people who need help.

In his response, Hon. Bro. Felix Amechi Obuah graciously accepted both the appointment and the award, expressing appreciation to the MEG Cancer Foundation for the honour.

He pledged his continued support for the Foundation and assured that he would contribute meaningfully towards assisting cancer patients, the less privileged, the needy, and vulnerable members of society.

He further expressed his commitment to supporting initiatives that promote accessible and quality healthcare across the country, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in improving the wellbeing of Nigerians.
