In a significant judicial pronouncement ahead of the 2027 general elections, the Federal High Court, Jos, has declared Hon. Ayuba Dalyop Mandung the duly nominated APC candidate for Jos South State Constituency, Plateau State House of Assembly.

The court restrained the APC and other defendants from parading Mancha John Vincent as the party’s candidate and ordered the submission of Mandung’s name to INEC. It also dismissed the defendants’ preliminary objections and awarded ₦500,000 each against Vincent, the APC, and INEC.
