A high-power delegation from Plateau State, led by the Emir of Wase, Muhammadu Sambo Haruna, visited Zaria to commiserate with the government and people of Kaduna State and the Zazzau Emirate following a tragic mob incident in Mangun, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The Emir of Wase, Muhammadu Sambo Haruna, emphasized that the visit was to commiserate with the government and people of Kaduna State, the Emir of Zazzau, and the families of those who lost their loved ones.

He prayed for the souls of the deceased and healing for those who sustained injuries.

The Emir called on the people of the Emirates not to allow the incident to destroy the relationship existing between Plateau State, Kaduna State, and the Zazzau Emirates.

The Royal father said twenty-two suspects have been arrested by security agencies in connection with the incident.

The Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, thanked Almighty Allah for the delegation’s safe journey to Zaria.

He sued for tolerance, peace, and mutual respect among people, regardless of ethnic or religious differences.

The Emir called on the media to promote peaceful coexistence among people rather than escalating tensions.

Responding on behalf of the affected family Yakubu Yusuf, expressed sadness over the death of their loved ones and thanked the delegation for the visit.

He appealed to the Plateau State government to come to the aid of those who lost their breadwinners.

The Emir of Zazzau called for peace and calm among the people, emphasizing that the incident should not be allowed to happen again in the 21st century.

The Plateau State government had earlier promised to send a high-level delegation to Kaduna State to commiserate with the government and people of Kaduna State.

The visit concluded with prayers offered to Allah for the repose of the souls of those who died.
