Management of Gindiri Theological Seminary Visits Plateau Information Commissioner Hon. Dan Manjang, Describes Him as “Doyen of Hebrew”

The management of Gindiri Theological Seminary Mangu LGA led by the Provost, Rev. Dr. Patrick Atokor who was accompanied by the Registrar, Rev. Dr. Iliya Kachalla has described a former Lecturer of Institution and the Plateau State, Hon. Dan Manjang as a “Doyen of Hebrew” on account of his vast knowledge of the ancient language of the Hebrews.
He said the Commissioner has contributed immensely to education, human capital development and societal transformation as a reputable Theologian.

He said they will continue to pray for those in authority and give them the needed supports to succeed in line with the Biblical teaching.

Rev. Dr. Patrick disclosed that the citadel of learning was established over 82 years ago to provide manpower to the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) & with present students strength of over 700.

He said the institution is working towards the actualization of its dual mandates which are spiritual upliftment and national transformation.

He hinted that the institution presently offers Degree and Master Degree programmes even as plans are underway to commence Doctorate Degree programmes.

He stated some of the challenges militating against the progress of the Institution and pleaded for government intervention.

Rev. Dr. Patrick made these known when management of the Institution paid a courtesy visit on the Commissioner of Information and Communication, Hon. Dan Manjang at his Office Joseph Gomwalk Secretariat Jos, Plateau State.

Hon. Dan Manjang who was flanked by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Elder Michael Pam, Director of Information Mrs. Theodora Damulak and other top management staff of the Ministry appreciated the delegation for the visit and said the government will partner with the Institution in the best possible ways.

He commended the Institution for the role it is playing in moulding the people spiritually, morally and physically through sound theological education.
He hinted that the State government is already constructing a Library at Karl Kumm University Vom Jos South LGA to assist in boosting its infrastructural capacity.

He reiterated the commitment of the present government to investing in viable projects and ideas that will transform the State and impact the citizens.

He said the government will continue to do its best in providing good governance to the citizens and called for prayers by the people to enable to government.
