Sen. Dino Melaye has faulted political leaders for failing to take care of citizens during this COVID-19 lockdown, stressing that neglecting the vulnerable ones by not providing palliative to them.

The outspoken former lawmaker stated this through his Twitter handle on Tuesday, stating that politicians, including him have dealt a bad blow to the country, stressing that the citizens deserves an unreserved apology from all political for bad governance.

Sen. Dino Melaye who has been in and around Nigeria’s political circles, served as Member House of Representatives and a Senator since the return of democracy in 1999. He maintained that if Nigerians have been taken care of during the lockdown there would have been successes in the fight against this pandemic.
