Committee Chairman, Langtang North Local Government, Nanmwa Khumzhi has admonished the eight newly inaugurated TIC Members to discharge their duty wholeheartedly.

Kumzhi stated this while inaugurating the appointed Senior Special Assistants of the Council at the Langtang North Local Chambers.

The Chairman advised them to represent their people well by discharging their duty diligently as the people of their communities expect a lot from them.

The Chairman urged them not to betray the electorate as their Conduct and leadership style will speak for them.

Nanmwa Kumzhi cautioned them not to see their appointment as a money-making venture, but rather, as a call to service in line with Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s administration’s mantra of the time is now.

Kumzhi advised the people to accord them the maximum support and cooperation to deliver on their mandate by enhancing the lives of the people of Langtang North.

He reminded them that as leaders, they are chosen out of many People’s Democratic Party, PDP faithful, and as such they should not betray the confidence the people repose in them.

The TIC Chairman warned the public not to cause segregation among them as the PDP is one family and advised them to work hard as they are representing the Governor of Plateau state at the grassroots.

Responding on behalf of the appointees, Barrister Nanman Takbal assured the TIC Chairman of their loyalty and total support to deliver the dividends of Democracy to their people.

He challenged them to close ranks and avoid rancor by working as a team for the progress of their party and the people.

The newly sworn-in Special Advisers commended Governor Caleb Mutfwang for finding them worthy to serve.

Goodwill messages came from the PDP Chairman of Langtang, Ventim Tyem, and the Party’s Women Leader, Naomi Dashe, Party elders, and some Stakeholders among others.

The Transition Committee Chairman assigned portfolios to the newly inaugurated Senior Special Assistants as follows;

• Barr. Takbal Amos Nanman takes charge of Special Duties.
• Comrade Precious Namina Kundul takes charge of Administration.
• Hon Benjamin Emmanuel is in charge of Works and Housing.
• Hon Dangata Moses Timnan is in charge of the Social Services Department.

Others include:

• Hon Gansoh Kurnap takes charge of the Primary Healthcare Department.
• Nanloh Miri Dashe takes care of Education.
• Hon Domfa Lafim is the Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Revenue.

While Engr. Selman Hassan is the Senior Special Assistant on Agriculture and Natural Resources.
