Farmers in Langtang North local government Council of Plateau state on Friday lauded the
Executive Chairman of the Council, Hon. Pirfa Tyem for his efforts at boosting farming.
It could be recalled that the council Boss Hon. Pirfa Jingfa Tyem had recently flagged off the distribution of subsidized fertilizer to famers and citizens in the council.
Nanpak Tali a farmer who spoke to our correspondent said, the council chairman has made significant strides in reshaping the local economy, bringing about positive changes to the different communities that constitute the council area.
Tali also lauded Hon Tyem’s efforts in revamping of critical sectors like health, education and human capital development .
They praised the Chairman for his proactive approach to addressing the area’s economic challenges, citing initiatives aimed at boosting trade, commerce, and infrastructural development.
Mrs Ramya Nanpon, a businesswoman stressed that we can see changes in the local government, our council boss is keying into the initiatives of the Barrister Caleb Mutfwang led government, we are proud of him.
Also cross sections some of the traders who spoke to newsmen praised the chairman for his intervention in infrastructure and other development projects.
“We are happy with his leadership. We have no regret supporting him because the local government is doing everything possible to revamp critical sectors in Langtang North .
Laraba Nanfa a resident of the council who spoke to our correspondent added: “Well, I will rate my council boss very high.
He is doing well and his leadership is the true definition of government at the grassroots.
She noted that the efforts of the chairman would not only improved the standard of living but have also created new opportunities for local dwellers.
Hon. Tyem’s commitment to transparency and accountability has also been lauded by residents.
“This openness in his leadership has fostered trust and cooperation between the council and the community, enabling all of us to work together towards a common goal, which is making Langtang North better for all of us,”she added.
