Lalong would win 2019 Governorship election – Plateau Regeneration Group

Plateau Regeneration Group on Friday said it is confident that Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state would win the 2019 Governorship elections because the people of Plateau are with him.

The group in a statement signed by its public relations officer Pam Datiri said from what we have seen Plateau people have queued behind Gov Lalong the All Progressive Congress Candidate in the forthcoming general elections .

“Lalong is a man who has done a lot for Plateau and we need more support for him ”

“As the 2019 elections draw closer ,we have observed that people of Plateau are with Lalong .”

“Lalong has done excellently well in carrying all tribes along in governance ,Lalong has constantly paid salaries of workers ,our Governor has constructed roads as well as boost industrialization by revamping moribund companies in Plateau ,our Governor has done well in revamping the fertilizer company in Bokkos, as well as the highland bottling company in Barkin Ladi ,Lalong our Governor has also done a lot in employment and is about to do more ,I am calling on the people of Plateau to continue to support Lalong ”

“Lalong deserves a second term ,Lalong is one of the best Governors Plateau has produced and we would rally around him ,our members are on ground to support him” , the statement added .

It could be recalled that Thousands of persons in Jos showed their solidarity in Jos city in support of the Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong,s second term bid .

The crowd at the campaign office was so massive that it created a grid lock around the premises of the campaign office.

Our correspondent reports that Gov Lalong officially opened his campaign office on Friday by 4 30 pm calling on citizens to support his administration and reelect him come 2019 .

Our correspondent also reports that Thousands of people poured towards the campaign office in Jos, with most of them wearing branded shirts of Gov Lalong with the inscription 4+4 with others carrying the All Progressive Congress Flags

It was also observed that men , women, of the APC political class dominated the crowd

The Chairman of Mikang Local government Ezikel Velgap who spoke to our correspondent saying Its a sign of victory

Lalong has performed creditably well and therefore is the best candidate for the 2019 governorship , we are confident Lalong would win the forthcoming 2019 Governorship election in Plateau

Plateau Regeneration group also commended citizens of the state for their support for Gov Lalong and called on them to vote massively for him come 2019 .
