The Chief Executive Officer of a Lagos based entertainment company known as “D Sugar Land Place” has targeted about 100 young upcoming musicians in the city of Jos in actualizing their musical dreams.

Mr. Kingsley Benneth stated this yesterday during a press conference held at Mega park along Bauchi Ring Road in Jos the Plateau State capital.

According to the CEO, “D Sugar Land Place is a brand that is identified with events and entertainment, setting a stage in Plateau State to discover music talents and encourage youths with passion for music in realizing the potentials of their gifts toward building the country.

“During my research in Lagos, I discovered that major Lagos musicians rose from Jos city. And Jos has the best dancers from our research.

“The choice of Jos Plateau State is to ensure that young people who hunger for music gets a platform that can push their dreams at no cost, consider the pain of going to Lagos to grab opportunities like this,” he stated.

“We are targeting hundred youths in this city for the talent hunt. Winner will go with a price of N200,000, one year recoding and promotional deal, with consolation prices for the 1st and 2nd runners-up.”

The CEO also stated, “In our firm, winners and losers always have a platform, we groom losers for next year’s talent hunt, and is open for young people from the age of 19 to 35.”

Mr. Benneth maintained that intrested persons can picked their forms that are already available for sales at “Unity fm 93.3, SFJ, Jay fm and the D Sugar Land Place, No 1 Awasak close Eto-baba in Jos the Plateau State capital at the price of N5,000 only.”

He added also, “This event will take place from 28th November, 2017 to 3rd December, 2017. Starting with early stage screening and a grand finally on Sunday 3rd December, 2017 all at the Mega Park, opposite University of Jos staff quarters , Bauchi ring road.”

He expressed his commitment in having a hitch free talent hunt in the state devoid of bias.
