A group of Youths, Men and Women, Elders both of Christian and Muslim faith, students came out in numbers to witness the inauguration of the G36 Plateau State chapter. The G36 is a group of like minds that came together to pursue a common goal of having Sen. Dr. Engr. Musa Rabiu Kwankwaso as the President of Nigeria come 2019. It is a movement borne out of the antecedent of the former governor of Kano State and his unmatched achievements when he was at the helm of affairs in Kano State.

The event witnessed the influx of people from different works of life, the event center was full to capacity for the maiden inauguration which was done by the National Coordinator of the G36 movement Alhaji Mohammed Mohammed and few of his Executives at the National level together with the National Director Of Mobilization who happens to come from Plateau State Mr. Auwal Marshall.

The G36 Executive Committee members of Plateau were all dressed in white and adorned with their red Kwankwasiya caps, the State Executives were inaugurated alongside 17 coordinators from the 17 local governments of Plateau State.

Sen. Kwankwaso who was unavoidably absent was ably represented by Alhaji Hamisu Dogonnama, Alhaji Hamisu tendered an unreserved apology to the gathering for the unavoidable absent of the Principal, Sen Kwankwaso who is tied up with a constitutional responsibility as a Senator ready poo resenting the ever dynamic people of Kano State. The representative in his speech said that Senator Kwankwaso as a man of action not words as he knows gave him few but powerful and inspirational words for the organizers of the event. In Alhaji Dogonnama’s word he said, Sen. Said I should tell you that he has the full knowledge of the activities of the group and indebted to them for putting their resources together out of volition to host a magnanimous event as this in his honor, he said I should tell you that he is for Nigerians and he is for Nigeria. That the Kwankwasiya ideology is not for a particular party or religion, not for a particular region or ethnicity but for every Nigerian who believes in the dreams of our founding fathers. Alhaji Hamisu Dogonnama concluded by saying that he will ensure that the State Executives get to have an interface with the Senator within the shortest possible time as their love the former Kano State governor is worthy of commendation.

The National Coordinator Alhaji Mohammed Mohammed who is also the convener of the G36 movement said that it is a great move under the ambiance of Kwankwasiya and that the group should be dogged and resilient until their goal is achieved, he charged the State Executives and the Local Government EXCO to remain resolute and be determined in pursuing the target, he thanked the State EXCO for sourcing funds within themselves and hosting a tremendous event as this.

The Plateau State G36 Coordinator Mr. Halad Abdul Malik Musa gave his opening remark by first of all appreciating Dr Musa Kwankwaso for giving them a reason for their gathering, he said but for Kwankwaso’s laudable achievements as an executive governor and his pragmatic legislation as a senator, they wouldn’t have been here and there wouldn’t have been this day. He reiterated his their collective resolve to ensure the emergence of Sen. Rabiu Kwankwaso come 2019. He concluded by singling out his Director of Action And Mobilization Comr. Lokrit Abdul Precious for being there at all times and for the confidence reposed on him and Sen. Kwankwaso by Lokrit and his fellow EXCO.

The event culminated by cutting of cake in honor of the Grand Patron, who as termed by the Master Of Ceremony as an astute administrator, a quintessential leader, a 21st century politician, a man who has walked the talk.

The cutting of cake was simultaneously ran with fire works of different shades and colours, the name Kwankwasiyya was spelt as the cake was jointly cut, it was indeed colorful. The cake cutting was in honor of the senator who celebrated his birthday recently.

In the Vote of thanks, the National Director of Mobilization Comr. Auwal Marshall says they remain thankful to Sen. Musa Kwankwaso for giving 10 Plateau State Students overseas scholarship in Kano when he was the then governor despite agitations by his people to drop off the list of the Plateau students but he was adamant to their agitations citing the fact that everyone in Kano needs education and education must be for all.

Issuing the closing remark, the assistant Coordinator of Plateau State, Comr. Koptong Mangvwat appreciated all and sundry for making out time to honor their invitation, he further said that it was not an honor to the EXCO alone but that it is a stupendous honor to the Engineer who is ready to re-engineer Nigeria for the common good of all.

The event which was done in Ezinifite Town hall was graced by G36 State Coordinators of Taraba and Nasarawa States amongst other States Executive members too numerous to mention.

Closing prayers was said by the Comr. Elijah Matawal, while the crowd dispersed the National and Plateau State EXCO stayed behind for pleasantries and briefings.
