Great KOSA members! Wani Yaro!

The National Association felicitates with all members in this month of February as we mark the 80th anniversary of our great school the Government Science School Kuru which was established this month in 1940. We take a moment to remember our great members and administrators who are no longer with us and who have set the pace before us, may their dear Souls Rest in Peace. Amen.

It was with nostalgia we envisioned a large and in person celebration for our 80th anniversary and convention which we planned to hold this month of February but alas! our plans changed due to COVID-19. But as they say the party must go on, we therefore took the challenge in our stride and revised our plans.

We will hold our 80th anniversary largely virtually with social media campaigns and television interviews, radio jingles and print media announcements.
We will postpone our National convention to August of 2021 where we hope to have a blended attendance via zoom and in person meetings in compliance with COVID-19 protocols. We hope the raging pandemic will slow down enough for us to execute this.

So dear KOSA seniors, colleague’s and wani yaros! we commenced our campaigns on the 15th of February with the social media campaigns which will on all social media platforms for two weeks. We will also have campaigns on PRTV Jos TV station, FM 90.5, Jay FM and Rythm 93.7 Jos, Nasarawa Broadcasting Station in Lafia, including select radio stations in Abuja and Lagos to be announced shortly.

So, lets gear up to participate now and in the National Convention in August where we will re-strategize for the development of our Alumni and the School and you can contest and vote to elect your National Executives for the next phase of our collective progress.
