KUMWEN WALSHAK MUSA CO SPONSORS ZAWAN ADVANCED STUDENTS FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT, ATTENDS KICKOFF CEREMONY.

The leader and captain of team “Blazing the Trail” for a balanced and effective communication in the next Plateau Youth Council’s dispensation attended the opening ceremony of the football tournament he co sponsors tagged: Zawan advanced students football tournament.
The ceremony took place at St. Williams football play ground, Zawan amidst cheers and jubilation.

Speaking at the ceremony, Kumwen lauded the efforts of the initiators of the competition and said he is pleased to have been considered by the entire community to be honored as one of the sponsors of the tournament. He further assured the organizers of the tournament and the competitors of his support towards ensuring a hitch free competition. He added that his team is planning huge packages for the winning team and encouraged all the teams to blaze the trail endlessly to ensure they win the undisclosed prizes.

Kumwen who led a high powered delegation to the ceremony, said he had to do that because of the importance attached to the ceremony, given that it is an initiative that will have direct impact on the lives of the youths whom he described as his constituency.

Also speaking, a member of the delegation, Ken Dabilong who is the P.A to the honorable commissioner for Youth and sports emphasized on the importance of organizing such tournaments given its many positive impacts on the youths. On his part, he equally promised present packages to the highest goal scorer and the best player. He promised to also reach out to the commissioner to see what can be done during the closing ceremony to encourage sports at the grassroots.

Highlights of the event was the exchange of pleasantries refreshment brought by “Team Blazing the Trail”.
