The attention of the Hon. member representing Mikang, Shendam and Qua’anpan Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. KOMSOL ALPHONSUS LONGGAP and his Media Team, Komsol Media Team, is been drawn to an article circulated on the media space tagged:

REP: A BILL FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC, ZANDI, PLATEAU STATE: HON. ALPHONSUS KOMSOL LONGGAP, THE MEMBER REPRESENTING OUR FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY HAS SOLD OUT. Written by a purported group of misinformed, mis-engineered and nebulous irritants of progress and development, under a mirage, shadowy and concocted forum called “Concerned Constituents of Mikang, Shendam and Qua’anpan Federal Constituency”.

To set the records straight, before addressing the ignorance of the unmasked individuals and merchants of grief, we want to submit to the public thus:

1. That the Bill for the establishment of Federal Polytechnic Shendam Local Government of Plateau State, was introduced by the former Member House of Representatives Hon. Johnbul Shekarau, who represented Mikang, Shendam and Qua’anpan Federal Constituency, which Hon Komsol Alphonsus Longgap took after him.
2. That Hon Komsol Alphonsus Longgap, represented the Bill on the floor of the House of Representatives in October 2019.
3. That below are the stages of passage of bills:

5. First Reading on the floor of the House
6. Second Reading on the floor
7. Public Hearing or/and
   3rd Reading
8. Correspondent passage by the other chamber members which in our case is the senate
9. Consideration by House Committee Members
10. Final Passage by Senate
    8 Transmission to the President for assent or signing into law
11. The general Public, the good, loving and supportive Constituents of Mikang, Shendam and Qua’anpan Federal Constituency are hereby re-informed today, that the Bill for the Establishment of Federal Polytechnic Shendam is at its 6th stage and will be duly signed into law.
12. That the bill sponsored by Honourable Dachung Bagos for the establishment of Federal Polytechnic Zandi is at its infant stage and it is separate and completely different from the Bill by Hon. KOMSOL ALPHONSUS LONGGAP , for the establishment of Federal Polytechnic Shendam.
13. That for audio confirmation, the general public is advised to visit AGRO FM SHENDAM and get the records of the interview of Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap on the said radio Station on the 29th of July 2020.
    In the interview, Hon. Komsol shedded more light on the issue at hand.
14. That the said 14th of July 2020 as submitted by the mischief makers, was the day Hon Dachung Bagos presented his Bill for the establishment of Federal Polytechnic Zandi, which has nothing to do with the Bill for the establishment of Federal Polytechnic Shendam by Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap.

Haven addressed the issue at hand clearly above, it will be unfair to allow those whose stock in trade is to beat the drum of war, using diversionary tactics, distance decay and disowning their thinking caps, in persons of SHALWUS LUCAS, MR PETER MAISHIK, and MAL. UNARU U. DATONG who are bent on misleading the general Public and the ever loving and supportive Constituents of Mikang, Shendam and Qua’anpan Federal Constituency.

All our supportive and loving Constituents are urged o remain calm and never panic, for as stated in Shendam on the 29th of July 2020, by their most performing House of Representatives Member, Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap, there is no evil that will take away Federal Polytechnic Shendam from Shendam Local Government to another location for whatever reason on Earth.

And the Honourable is doing everything humanly possible to ensure nothing happens otherwise. The public is called upon to ignore those nonchalant nay sayers, who are probably sponsored by those who are clearly disappointed that Hon. Komsol Alphonsus Longgap is performing wonderfully well in his constitutional duties, and are then releasing their angs on him and embarking on a pull down syndrome otherwise known as political SAMSONIAN APPROACH. Their ignoramus coup has already fallen flat on its face and will summersault back to where it is emanating, from.

Hon Komsol will always DOGARA GA ALLAH , while his opposing and antagonistic voices will continue to wail in vain.

Finally, the said characters, our thorough investigation revealed that, they’re faceless and there is no such forum as CONCERNED CONSTITUENTS OF MIKANG, SHENDAM AND QUA’ANPAN FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY .

The characters behind the circulated article are only but misinformed, ignorant and toothless bulldogs looking for cheap popularity and trying to tarnish the good image of Hon. Komsol.

And such characters are advised to join hands in promoting the Constituency rather than being miscreants constituting avoidable nuisance on the media. Hon. Komsol seeks more support as he continue to represent his Constituents diligently and untiringly.
