The former Plateau state governor, Senator Joshua Dariye has described the Senator (General) Jeremiah T. Useni as a national material if well preserved would continue to impact the lives of Nigerians.

Senator Dariye who is representing Plateau Central made the statement during the 75th birthday celebration of Sen. Useni held at Hill Station Hotel in Jos Saturday.

“What Nigerians are doing on social media insulting elders has been painful and disheartened. JT Useni is our national material, we should preserved him. They were few in Plateau State, and they included General Gowon, Dr. Selcan Miner among others.

“We have to preserve them, we need them at national level. Even though JT Useni is running for the seat of governor, the youths shouldn’t be insulting him.” He said.
