Joy as The Manumar Foundation Distributes Learning Materials to Primary School Pupils in Plateau State

There was palpable joy from pupils of LEA Gimti and LEA Dichanje in Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State as the Manumar Foundation in its commitment to investing in the future, humanity, education and to inspire the younger generation distributed learning materials to pupils of the mentioned Schools.

While distributing the materials, the Founder of The Manumar Foundation, Barr. Umar Mantu Ph.D hinted that the gesture is to underscore the place of acquiring knowledge through sound education.

“Knowledge is power and education is a key to unlocking our potentials” he said.

He said their humanitarian services focused on the educational sector on account of where our education sector is in the society.

“Ability is what you’re capable of doing, motivation determines what you do, and attitude determines how well you do it” he said while encouraging the pupils to take education seriously.

Dr. Umar expressed gratitude to God Almighty for the reminder of his purpose and the reason he undertook the gesture.

“It’s all about service and investing in humanity. There is no better legacy to leave behind as a human”

“It is unfortunate that we live in a country where things shouldn’t be what they are and the sad part is WE ALL KNOW IT. The biggest question then remains what are WE doing about it???”

“The biggest threat to humanity is the belief that someone else will do it and this leads us to evading our COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY. 2020/21 has been such a hard year for everyone and I pray it gets better for us all by the grace of the Almighty!!” he said.

Dr. Umar charged the pupils to make a difference and concentrate on things that will improve them to attaining greatness and their full potentials.

He harped on the need for greater investment in education (both infrastructural and human resources) in order to compete favorably well with the rest of the World.

He said an educated society is a well informed society with high propensity of development.

The materials distributed were books and writing materials.
