As the newly sworn in President of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari settles down to work, a group under the aegis of Movement for a Joint Orientation of Self Liberated Africans (JOSLA) has advised him to appoint technocrats as ministers and aides, if he wants to succeed.

The group gave the advice in a press statement jointly signed by Peter Okoruwa, Secretary General and Yemi Matthew, Director Media, Wednesday, made available to journalists in Jos.

The statement reads, “The expectations of Nigerians is so high as such we advised the newly sworn-in President to be very wise to make wide consultations before making sensitive appointments and he must not accommodate imposition or allowed to be cajoled into decisions.

The group showered praises on outgone President, Goodluck Jonathan, for threading the path of honour by conceding to his opponent, Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressive Party (APC) even before the result was formally announced, describing him as the hero and champion of the nation’s democracy .

“The destinies of all great nations in the world are greatly shaped by the behaviour, attitude and actions of their leaders, the statement further stated.

“It is an undisputable fact that the saving grace of our great country in this historic election has been the candour and conduct of President Goodluck Jonathan who has elevated himself to the status of an eternal hero and a champion of democracy, the group stressed.
