The Executive Chairman of Jos South Local Government Council Plateau State, Hon. Gideon Dandereng on Monday 6th December, 2021 sworn in Eight Supervisory Councillors and Four Special Assistants with a charge on them to hit the ground running, add value and perform optimally for the progress of the Council, the Area and State at large.

Hon. Gideon stressed that it will be business unusual urging the New Appointees to bring their wealth of experience to bear to justify the trust and confidence reposed in them with the appointments.

“See your appointments as the will of God, as you were carefully selected among many people from your various Wards, the people expect a lot from you and you have to deliver”

“Let us join hands to take Jos South LGA to enviable height and make it the pride of all in the State and Country” he said.

He urged them to accord maximum support to the Council and mobilize the citizens for the ruling party.

Hon. Esther Pam is to head the Social Services Department as Supervisory Councillor, Hon. Esther Bitrus Budget & Planning, Hon. Pam Dickson Education, Barr. Patricia Hondieng Mang Revenue & Legal Services, Chief Vitalis Okechukwu Water & Sanitation, Hon. Chun Joseph Health, Hon. Badung Davou and Hon. Abubakar Zakari Special Services.

The Council Boss also sworn in Gyang shamaki as Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Hon. Linda Dung Katai Senior Special Assistant on People Living With Disabilities and Cmr. Samuel Gyang “Dara Gee” as Special Assistant on Social Media.

Speaking shortly to Journalists after their inauguration, Hon. Esther Pam the Supervisory Councillor Social Services appreciated the Council Chairman and Stakeholders of the party for finding them worthy of the appointments promising to justify the appointments through value addition and credible performance. “With the help of God, i will make sure i reach out to the grassroots to make them feel the dividends of democracy. What is meant for the people of Jos South will be given to them irrespective of party, religious and ethnic affiliation. The welfare of my people will be my first priority” she said.

The swearing in which held at the Council Secretariat was well attended by Traditional Rulers, Political Leaders, Religious Leaders, well wishers, APC Stakeholders, Youths, Women and Community Associations.
