Jos North Chairman pledges to unite citizens of the LGA

Management Committee chairman of Jos North local government of Plateau state , Hon Shehu Bala Usman yesterday said he is determined to unite citizens of the local government .

The chairman in a press statement signed by Philp Eplong ,the Senior Information Officer of the LGA reads that he is determined to change the negative narrative in the LGA which was crisis ridden in the past .

“We are interfacing with both christian and Muslims leaders as well traditional rulers in this LGA to ensure lasting peace to the LGA “.
Recently we hosted the first ever christmas tree lighting at the council secretariat in Jos and several persons attended .”
“We have so far visited and interfaced with the chairman , Christian Association of Nigeria , other christian leaders as well as that of Jama,atu Nasril Islam JNI and other islamic denominational heads and also paid homage to Gbong Gwom Jos ,Uja Anaguta, the Adagwom Izere ,Jos North community and youth leaders to sustain peaceful co existence .”

He further said he draws his inspiration from Plateau state Governor Simon Lalong ,whose peace initiative has ensured peace across the state.

Hon Usman solicited the support and co operation of citizens of Jos North for his administration and both the state and Federal government assuring that more dividends of democracy awaits them .
