Jos-based Human Rights Defender, Barr. Gyang Zi Hosts Berom Media Influencers/Journalists

Jos-based Human Rights Defender and legal Practitioner, Barr. Gyang Zi on Sunday 22nd December, 2019 hosted some Berom Social Media Influencers/Journalists to an end of year hangout at Signature 58 Gyel Lounge Gyel Jos South LGA.

He said the essence of the meeting was to interface with them and appreciate them for their efforts in defending and promoting the Berom Nation, Plateau State & Nigeria in general.

He commended them for their perseverance, doggedness and working towards a greater society.

He said their efforts are globally felt and have given the Berom Nation, Plateau State & Nigeria good reputation internationally.

He admonished them to remain resilient in the face of daunting challenges as they carry out their activities.

He said no magnitude of appreciation be it in cash or materially can be made to them for their sacrifices and commitments.

Those who spoke appreciated the Legal Luminary, Barr. Gyang Zi for the idea which they said is well thought.
They lauded his human rights activism and for defending the less privileged. They also commended him for making the Berom Nation and Plateau State proud as well as some of his legal victories in favor of the downtrodden.
They thanked him for finding them worthy among many in what they are doing in their little corners. They said they never knew the little they are doing are being noticed, recognized, appreciated and celebrate.
They prayed for God to grant him divine protection, wisdom and direction in his endeavors.
They also promised to do their best and remain patriotic ambassadors of the Berom Nation and Plateau anywhere they are.

BYM President, Arc. Gabriel Sunday also commended him for bringing the youths together in unity and to appreciate them for the good works they are doing.
He urged the youths to continue to add value to the society and develop themselves while asking them to give the BYM Excos the much needed supports to succeed.

Immediate past Caretaker Chairman, Rwas Samuel Nta lauded the initiative saying it is apt, timely and commendable. He said it should be continuous.
