The ongoing 2020 edition of the Jos Trade Fair is expected to end on Sunday (today ).
Our correspondent reports that this years trade fair which focus on the Theme; Trade Fairs, a Platform for sustaining MSMEs in a Challenging Economy started on the 15th October 2020 at the Jos Polo Field.
A statement from the organizers Anista Marketing made available to newsmen in Jos reads that “Dear esteemed exhibitors, This is to inform you that the Jos Tradefair committee having accessed the situation at the TradeFair as a result of the effect of the #EndSars protest has decided to close the 2020 Jos Tradefair with effect from Sunday 1st November 2020.
By this notice, exhibitors are expected to use Monday to wind down and thereby depart latest by Tuesday 3rd November 2020.
Exhibitors are further advised to come to the information centre for clearance in preparation for departure.
Kindly note that security will be withdrawn Tuesday 3rd November 2020.
Details of the 2021 Jos Trade Fair will be communicated to you as soon as we finalise arrangements towards our permanent Tradefair ground.
